I doubt it to be Viola odorata as it is introduced in India.
Is it reported as wild in your Floras?
It was taken in a sacred forest in Meghalaya. I did not get a clear photo of the front angle of the flower. It did not have any fragrance. Thank you

It may be Viola hamiltoniana as POWO & Checklist of Nepal consider Viola arcuata Blume to be a syn. of it.
