So far we have postings only of Tropaeolum majus & Tecomella undulata Tropaeolum minimum Miersis a synonym of Tropaeolum brachyceras Hook. & Arn. as per The Plant List. As per literature Tropaeolum majus is tall or CLIMBING NASTURTIUM. The image is of a plant which does not fit into this description. But it fits into the description of Tropaeolum minor. Thanks, ..., There is no such name as Tropaeolum minor as per The Plant List & GRIN etc. I find one as Tropaeolum minus L. Is it you are talking about ? I referred K S Gopalaswamienger's COMPLETE GARDENING IN INDIA. He states, "Tropaeolum minor is the DWARF NASTURTIUM. It is very hardy, popular, effective bedding annual, growing 20-30 cm high with roundish attractive leaves and bearing very brightly coloured large flowers in great profusion throughout the season," Thanks, ... From one of the link I found on net on Tropaeolum minor states as below: "This species (Tropaeolum majus L.) comes from South America. However it does not grow in the wild, only being reported from cultivated and naturalised populations. It is thought to be a hybrid between Tropaeolum ferreyrae and Tropaeolum minor, both of which are native to the Andes region in western South America (i.e. Ecuador and Peru)." Pl. see more details with pictures at this link.
