Thank you ..., I have posted Talinium fruticosum in another flickr; that plant is different from this. both are captured in different locations. if you observe the axis is 3-angled, not terete (cylindrical); at each node the flowers are in simple cymes, hence after a lot of search I have posted. Yes, it is Talinum only, I too agree with ... The ID is correct. I have this plant in my garden in Mysore. We have been using this plant as a leafy vegetable since a decade or two!. It is commonly known as 'Ceylone basale' in Tamil. Also grown in many houses in Chennai as a leafy vegetable. |
