Physalis lagascae in FOI : 6 posts by 3 authors.
In Physalis lagascae in FOI, all images appears to be incorrect.
Ist image is of Physalis pruinosa
2nd & 3rd image are of Physalis angulata
Physalis lagascae appears to be different as per

Flowers of India appears to be not working. I do not know whether Physalis lagascae in FOI has been corrected or not.

For that matter, we do not have any image for Physalis lagascae in EFI as well. Does it occur in India ? I have not yet seen a single post on it in Indian Flora. And, if only morphological difference between P. joe-diasii and P. angulata is deeply dentate leaf margin in the former, then we need to follow few plants of P. joe-diasii for its whole annual life cycle .........reason is, P. angulata leaves are big and with prominently dentate margin in its early life, later leaf size becomes much smaller ..........1/3 to 1/4 of its younger days, plus margin becomes entire. What happens to P. joe-diasii late in its life ?

Thanks, ..., for the well researched question as well answer.
Catalogue of life gives distribution of Physalis lagascae only in NW-India (I).
But I did not find a single observation among hundreds of observation in efi site.
With regard to P. joe-diasii and P. angulata, my observation after perusing all observations in efi site is that they may be same as I do not find any other morphological difference except for the leaves. Also leaves are showing intermittent features. All this may be either due to substantial variation in the leaves or due to constant hybridization in the wild.
You may publish a suitable paper if you like with these observations in efi site.
