... this must be the white chocolate jasmine, Cestrum diurnum (family: Solanaceae), native of tropical America.
Yes 100% Cestrum diurnum
din ka raja...
it flowers in beginning of rainy season in bengal in waste lands... i found it when i got the singapore cherry pictures... before our malvaceae week..
just as allergenic pollen as the raat ki rani pollen...

please help me to identify this plant and family...
photographs taken on 1 march 2013
One of my classmates gave me this plant to identify it... actually he pressed it in a notebook to bring it to the college..that is why the leaves are curled..

Should be Cestrum diurnum... Solanaceae, an ornamental plant also called "Din Ka Raja" as we have "Raat Ki Rani"- Cestrum nocturnum from the same family..
Cestrum species.

The plant is: Cestrum diurnum of Solanaceae. Popularly known as "day king [din ka raja].

Sir, great to see thi group. I'm looking for seeds and plant of cestrum diurnum (din ka raja) but did not got it in nurseries nearby.  Can you help me procuring seeds of this plant and couple of plants.  I'll be greatly obliged. Please also let me know if any other member of the group can help me regarding this. I'm putting up in Rohini area of Delhi.
During March-April I saw some plants wildly growing on the bank of the Hooghly river in front of the main gate of Serampore College (Hooghly District). The plants also had seeds on them. But I didn't collect any. Sorry for unable to help on this.
