Fruits white or yellowish white when ripe.

To me also flower construction appear similar to images of Pittosporum species like Pittosporum dasycaulon
What are the species found in your area?

The following spp. are found in Mizoram : 1,Pittosporum napaulense, and 2, P. podocarpum.

I think it is Schoepfia fragrans

Posting the pictures from Upper Shillong area of Meghalaya for ID. Photographed in May 2018.
Plant is a small sparsely branched shrub, with light yellow flowers. Flowers non-fragrant.

I think it is Schoepfia fragrans

I think the plant has been correctly identified as Schoepfia fragrans..

Looks different from other images at Schoepfia fragrans and as per the following:

it has Jasmine like fragrance.

The flowers have a resemblance to Murraya flowers like Murraya paniculata. Need to check further.

Please referb to the link:

Some differences are apparent in flower. Cannot make out the  difference in leaves properly.
Maybe will have to reexamine the specimen again.
Thanks for bringing out the difference
