First and 2nd images hint opposite leaves (at remote end). This might be one var. of Wendlandia tinctoria or ( W. grandis as per FoC). Unlike FoC the treatment in TPL is different - http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/record/kew-214535.
Many herb, can be viewed in KEW
Please check probability of var. grandis.

Pl. also check Wendlandia puberula DC. as per FOP & FON & Floristic Diversity of Assam: Study of Pabitora Wildlife Sanctuary By Bora, Yogendra Kumar (2003) & illustration
'Floristic diversity of Assam....' proves nothing, there is at least one more species (should be more), W. paniculata (Roxb.) DC. as per http://threatenedtaxa.org/ZooPrintJournal/2014/April/o311726iv145649-5659.pdf
    https://08511630493324166816.googlegroups.com/attach/61a21d6a8531d3af/Wendlandia_sp._-_Herbarium_sheet_IMG_9159.jpg?part=0.1&view=1&vt=ANaJVrFYj4Ekpspp-_pVUj8_tkKbD7aJJmNiI28XwrtHS8qhlFAYer4SFtlUKissX4ioKHEGkIXFS0ZBFDCRHKK2_fJETO_gwBnUSWUY3MIY92qHCI_dOiA

'Floristic diversity.........Pabitora wildlife sanctuary' where the studied area - Pabitora wildlife sanctuary is small part of Assam. It does not reflect the diversity of whole Assam. According to 'Assam's Flora (Present status of vascular plants - 2005) by Dr. S. Chowdhury there are 07 species of Wendlandia found in Assam. They are W. coriacea, W. grandis, W. heynei, W. ligustrina, W. puberula, W. tinctoria and W. wallichii. And another one species of Wendlandia i.e. W. paniculata was reported from Assam by Kanjilal et al in 1939 and also repoted the same recently by Barbhuiya et al in 2014 from Southern Assam. So, study reveals that altogether 08 species of Wendlandia found in Assam.
Here is my herbarium sheet of my species which may be matched with W. timctoria var.grandis (W. grandis).(http://apps.kew.org/herbcat/getImage.do?imageBarcode=K000030949).
    So please validate.
    Attachments (1)

I think we can rule out W. puberula, W. heynei and W. wallichii. Corolla tube in these species is not significantly longer than corolla lobes (ref. FBI).
W, ligustrina has lesser number of seconadary veins (Ref. FoC).
    W. paniculata has leaves sub-sessile, flowers minute (ref. FI); petiole 1/8th to 1/4 th inch.
    W. coriacea is similar to W. tinctoria (attached here the description of, but leaves are narrower and nerves are delicate (ref. FBI)..
So, it should be one of W. tinctoria and W. grandis, depends on stipules as per FoC, Other descriptions of both the species seem to be similar to me, including bracts length. Since you have taken account of both the species I agree with your ID.
Sorry Sir, here is the description of W. coriacea.
