A tree to 5 m tall with ovate acuminate leaves, 5-8 cm long, sharply serrate, shining above; flowers white, 1.5 cm across; fruit brown, dotted, 12 mm.

Very nice... seems was a busy side walk or some thing... My question: the leaves dont remind me of birch... (betulifolius/betulifolia....)
may be they did to the original name giver....
