Prunus lusitanica L. ? (Cultivated) A detailed account of Prunus genus in India is published by Botanical Survey of India, Calcutta in 1984 as FASCICLE OF FLORA OF INDIA, FASCICLE 18, ROSACEAE: GENUS- PRUNUS written by Chhabi Ghora and G. Panigrahi. This monographic work provided generic description, keys (keys to sub genera, sections, species, sub species, varieties as the case may be), descriptions of species, vernacular names, type information, flowering-fruiting period, chromosome number and distribution in India as well as outside India.
