Date/Time: 08-08-2012 / 09:50AM. Perhaps Potentilla fulgens Yes P. fulgens only VOF Week 310812_DS_03: Another set for id please, found on the way to VOF, near the end of the route. Perhaps Potentilla argyrophylla No. This is Geum elatum. Potentilla argyrophylla will have silvery hairs on the leaves. This one doesn't have. Another difference is that some of the leaves have winged petioles and sometimes it looks like there are more than three leaflets. Agreed with ..., it is not P. argyrophylla as silky hairs are missing But I feel it is not even Geum elatum (now Acomastylis elata) which is a much different and smaller plant To me now this appears as Potentilla fulgens with interruptedly pinnate basal leaves and taller plant. Further feedback is solicited. Hi, ..., Should it be Potentilla lineata Trevir. as per your other posting at efi thread ?
