Li) as per Catalogue of Life; Tibet, Bhutan, India, Sikkim as per Catalogue of Life; Radical leaves 5-15cm, terminal leaflet broadly ovate or suborbicular 3-5 x 3-5cm, rounded, base deeply cordate, margins crenate or shallowly lobed, lateral leaflets 5-10 pairs, broadly elliptic up to 1 x 1cm; cauline leaves obovate or broadly oblanceolate 1-4 x 0.5-2cm, shallowly lobed; stipules ovate, 1-1.5 x 1cm. Peduncles up to 50cm bearing 1-2 flowers. Calyx cup 8mm diameter, yellowish, lobes broadly ovate, 1-1.5x0.8-1cm, pubescent. Petals yellow, obovate, 1-1.2 x 0.6-0.7cm, pubescent on the back. Styles 6-10mm pubescent, constricted near base, upper part deciduous above this point. Achenes ellipsoid 5-6mm, tapering above into a beak 1-2mm Fl. June-July In peat and gravel.
