Rosaceae Week: Dropwort (Filipendula vulgaris) mädesüß from my garden in Ritterhude: *Dropwort* (/*Filipendula vulgaris*/), also known as *Fern-leaf Dropwort*,
/Filipendula/ species are used as food plants by the larvae of butterflies and many insects. The flowers have a sweetsmell, and the seedpods are beautiful too.
