Family: Ranunculaceae
Loc.: Churdhar Wildlife sanctuary, Himachal Pradesh (ca 1500m)
Date: August, 2010

In absence of lower leaves the closest match for me is Ranunculus distans (syn: R. laetus).

Sharing some pictures of R. repens shit at Gidawari Botanical Garden Nepal on 13 July 2016 at 5000 ft.
Thanks, ..., It appears close to images at Ranunculus laetus (as lot of posts of this species & none of Ranunculus repens so far in efi). May I request you to pl. check.
ok!
Looking at the shape and arrangements of petals and seed cluster as well as altitude I am bit confused.
Enclosing links for comparison please.
Habitat: sloping meadow
Habit: herb about 20 -30 cm high, flower 10 - 12 mm across (not sure)
Ranunculus sp..

May be Ranunculus distans subsp. distans as appears close as per comparative images at Ranunculus
