Polygonum species

 

Flora of Arunachal Pradesh- Namdhapa near Miao- Herb 8 for Id- JM: Wild at Namdhapa near Miao, Arunachal Pradesh in 3rd week of August’10. 
- Do you have some more photographs with basal leaves?
Most probably it is  Polygonum microcephalum D. Don (Polygonaceae).
- I have only this picture & no picture showing basal leaves. Here are a few links of Polygonum microcephalum:

- Polygonum species.  But does not look like P. microcephalum.  One more doubt.  The third picture looks different from the first two.

Wild flower from Neora Valley- for ID: this wild flower was seen near Kolakham village (Neora Valley NP area) north Bengal hills...in December 2010.
ID of this flower wud be appreciated....
Beautiful flowers indeed. It is difficult to guess the flower size.
It may be from Polygonaceae or Rosaceae.
The pic of the flowers were taken last December ...so i cant provide with the details about it.
anyway...I got its ID...its a Pink Knotweed (Persicaria capitata).
This looks like Polygonum sp. to me.....but some more photographs are required to confirm at species level.
