Glabrous stem, lax inflorescence with white to pink perianth pointing to P. hydropiper. Requesting to please validate ID of this Persicaria captured near Manali, HP in October 2014. I hope this is Persicaria hydropiper (based on FoI pics). In old threads I have been told that P. hydropiper has lax flowered inflorescence. FoC or FoP also supports that. Yet overall looks of this plant is like that of P. hydropier - http://herbier.sesa-aude.fr/Polygonum-hydropiper. Please ensure leaf base is cuneate which is not clear in the attached pictures. Thanks ... for the info.... I am uploading a cropped pic of the leaf base... Attachments (1) Persicaria hydropiper (L.) Spach (accepted name) ??? : 6 posts by 2 authors.
