Flowers minute, zygomorphic, bisexual, naked, emerging from a spathe; stamens 20, monadelphous; staminodes 2, linear; ovary superior, oblique, 2-locular; ovules many, on a massive placentae. Royen as per Fwd: Regarding Indotristicha ramosissima I do not think this is Dalzellia. According to the key - Flora of Peninsular India the flowers here are zygomorphic. Flower morphology is similar to Cladopus hookeriana (syn Griffithella hookeriana). But the family is diverse, so I am not sure if there is enough detail to confirm.
