grass ID1 from Hooghly 15/9/12 SK1: I regret that i have lost the piece of paper where i noted down leaf & raceme sizes of this grass. There were a few of this grass in an uncultivated land growing by the dense vegetation of Saccharum sp. (possibly S. spontaneum L.).
Is this grass Paspalum scrobiculatum L. ?

Height : decumbent erect, erect part about 2 feet, a few roots at nodes at the base region
Leaves : average 10 cm x 6 mm

I would have certainly identified it as Paspalum scrobiculatum L., if there were a few racemes more.... but then FoC says it can have only two racemes.

I did a mistake, the correct words would be - Paspalum scrobiculatum L. sometimes can have more than two racemes. Please, check the KEY by ...- efi thread
