ORCHIDACEAE: ID: Prejith009 Vanda wightii: Sharing pictures of the now almost extinct in the wild Vanda wightii. It comes into bloom during late October through into November with 3-5 flowers on a raceme which are fragrant at dusk. The flowers are slightly smaller than V. tessellata and the plant has arching leaves. They do not tolerate too much of sunlight. Thats so nice to see this very rare plant for India. Thanks so much for posting. Youa re very few of the lucky ones who has seen it in wild.
