The new name for this plant is Schoenorchis gemmata (Lindl.) J.J.Sm. Supporting ... Yes sir it may be but differ in leaves of Schoenorchis gemmata (Lindl.) J.J.Sm. I never seen such types of leaves in Schoenorchis gemmata in our area....... This is the typical leaves of Schoenorchis gemmata in the Western Ghats. The leaf may show variation according to altitude light availability and other such parameters. This is very close to Schoenorchis gemmata, but we have live plants here too and leaves are a bit longer. This should flower now. I will post my pics soon..... Too busy these days. Any chance of showing flowers ...? Sir, the plants are so healthy, but in our place plants are not like that (almost pendulous) and the leaves are long and plants are found commonly found in 1000-1200 m msl...... Can the leaf size variation might be due to lack of nutrition, because I took this from a dead tree branch. The flowers might have withered off as fruits started setting. I will visit the place again, and will try to catch up the flowers.
