Terrestrial fleshy herbs, to 40 cm tall. Leaves to 16 x 2.5 cm, elliptic-lanceolate, acuminate; petiole sheathing at base. Flowers greenish-white, in 15-20 cm long, dense spike; bracts 7.5 x 2.5 cm, ovate-lanceolate, acuminate, margins glandular hairy, 1-veined; dorsal sepal 3.5 x 2 mm, ovate, acute, 3-veined; lateral sepals 2.5 x 2 mm, elliptic, acute, 3-veined; petals 2.9 x 1 mm, obliquely spathulate, 1-veined; lip 2.5 x 2 mm, cymbiform, with infolded margins; midlobe obtusely bilobed, recurved; hypochile with tuft of hairs; disc with 2 calli. I saw this orchid first time in nature. Few plants were growing on a mossy slope along a thin perennial rivulet. I thought it something very interesting but later proved as G. procera (Ker Gawl.) Hook. (Orchidaceae).
