Thanks a ton ... Do you have any idea when is the flowering season of this species (E-flora mentions Feb-Jul).... The place is rather distant from my house... and I really want to see this flowering... When did you get this pic. The plant should be flowering now, April - May. The photograph was taken on 18th April and I had visited the same spot yesterday and it looked very much the same as before (No Buds as yet)... :( However the spot is not very warm and maybe it will flower soon... Will try to visit again next week and keep you updated...
On my walk yesterday I found this orchid growing on the ground. I would have missed it if not for its bright white flowers against a dark rain-soaked background. The leaves immediately reminded me of Goodyera and a quick search later suggested Goodyera biflora. Please correct me if I am wrong. Unfortunately I never saw this plant in flower. 5-6 times in leaves though..
