Wonderful that you spotted it on a trek

i never expected to see them in the wild here in india
if it is really wild or spontaneously growing... was it spontaneous? garden escapee?
Appears to be some Fuchsia magellanica hybrids

I think close to Fuchsia 'Riccartonii'

I am now sending the pix of that wild Fuchsia seen on the way to Kanchenjunga Waterfalls at South Sikkim
I am not a botanist. So to try to identify a plant spcies, that too from an image may amount to arrogant behaviour. But as a plant lover one can definitely try. I consulted Botanica (an encyclopedia on plants published by Konemamm) as per that the name of the flower in the image is Fuchsia magellanica. It is commonly known as LADIES' EARDROPS and HARDY FUCHSIA.
It is definitely Fuchsia but may not be magenellica. There will be beautiful ornamentation inside (bluish) in magenellica

Appears to be some Fuchsia magellanica hybrids
