Clarkia pulchella from Kashmir, growing in Harwan Garden in Kashmir, the reservoir adjoining to the garden is the source of Water supply to Srinagar and adjoining areas.. This species is distinct from C. elegans in its 3-lobed clawed petals, flowers usually single.
Common names: pinkfairies, ragged robin, deerhorn clarkia
Thanks for attaching the picture of "Deer horn Clarkia" the petals looks like horns of deer hence the name.

Thank you all for the possible Ids. It does seem to be Clarkia sp, and from images I have browsed on the net it seems to be like C. pulchella like ... said. So can we take it to be this species
