A tree with leathery, smooth leaves, seen wild in East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh.
Found flowering in May-June.
Any clue to its identity will be helpful.

Oleaceae member, Chionanthus sp.,
Thanks for the lead ... It agrees with Chionanthus henryanus, the only species around there with leathery leaves and stalkless flowers. It is native to Myanmar to Yunnan. Should be a new record for India.
