Olax imbricata - a large much branched unarmed scandent shrub or small tree with 2 cm. drupes oblong or subglobose, covered except at the top by the accrescent calyx. It is found at Amboli, Khandala, Mumbra, Pune, Tungar & Khopoli. 2. Olax psittacorum [previously O.scandens] – a climbing, much branched shrub armed with slightly curved stout prickles on the old woody branches. It bears drupes which are globose, 9 mm in diam., apiculate, covered except at the top by the accrescent calyx. It is seen at Amboli, Khandala, Mumbra, Satpuda, Aurangabad & near Nagpur. Thanks, ...
