Keyed through Gamble but not sure of the distinction with E. phillyraeoides. Some reports consider it synonyms and some consider E. phillyraeoides to be E. mooniana var gracilis Syzygium phillyraeoides. But it should be placed in the genus Eugenia. Our observations in 2014, 2017 & March' 2018- Eugenia kalamii described in 2018 : 3 posts by 2 authors. Our observations were made in 2014 by Prashant ji, 2017 by Yuvraj ji & March' 2018 (or earlier) by Sid ji. However, Eugenia kalamii was described in 2018.
