I have uploaded three sets a, b and c from three seprarate locations in Bangalore.
I am confused if all three sets are of the same flower or if one is Malvastrum and the other Sida
Please tell me the key differences between Sida and Malvastrum.

All are Malvastrum coromandelianum.

I too agree that this is Malvastrum coromandelianum. In Sida cordifolia the leaves are cordate at the base hence the name cordifolia.

Malvastrum coromandelianum Family: Malvaceae
Pop. Name: -
Nativity: Trop. America (introduced in India during 19th century)
Distribution in India: Throughout
Propagation: Seeds
Fl & Fr: August – January
Description: Woody herb to 30 cm tall. Leaves entire, ovate-lanceolate or deltoid, 2-5 x 1.5-3 cm, chartaceous, 5-nerved at base, truncate-obtuse, crenate-serrate, acute. Epicalyx segments 3, shorter than calyx. Petals pale yellow. Schizocarp 3 x 6 mm, not exceeding calyx. Seed 1 per mericarp, reniform, compressed.

For ID 091011 NS1: This wild shrub I photographed @ Pune on 08 th Oct 11.
The flower was unusual, it seems like it was starting to bloom but remained as it is even at noon and after noon. So I assumed that it's like that only.
