Anisadenia saxatilis Wall. ex Meisn., Pl. Vasc. Gen. 96 1838. (syn: Anisadenia khasyana Griff.);

India (Uttar Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya), Sikkim, Nepal, Bhutan, N-Thailand, Myanmar [Burma] (Chin, Shan), China (Yunnan) as per Catalogue of Life;


Leafy shoots simple, erect, 15-25cm, stems subglabrous.leaves ± clustered at top of stems elliptic 4-8 x 1.5-3cm, acute, base cuneate, appressed pubescent beneath; petiles 0.5-3cm, stipules ocate, striate, 4-6mm. Racemes 7-14cm, rachis pubescent. Flowers sessile or on simple or branched pedicles 1-4mm, bracts lanceolate, striate, caducous. Sepals lanveolate 4-5mm, glandular bristles 1mm. petals white or pink 8-10mm, obovate,emarginate. styles 6mm. Fruit oblong 2mm.
Fl. July-September
Cool broad-leaved and evergreen oak forests.
