Last image appears to be of a herb. Then not Lauraceae I did not find any Actinodaphne listing in the HK Herbarium link and leafing also looks somewhat different from this sp. I am in the opinion it could be related to Rhododendron sp., but I may be wrong. It is a shrub / small tree. This is a Machilus. Cant confirm the species without flower. Machilus breviflora (Benth.)
