Only this Clerodendron was know from childhood as called Kadu Koynel or menda. Is it true that the medicine for Malaria is extracted from it? This was also an example of typical cyme?
Thanks for showing all beautiful Clerodendrons. Though flowers /plants were seen never related them to Kadu Koynel. HaHA!
... not sure of the medicinal aspect of this plant .

Requesting to please ID this plant captured at Lohagad near Pune in August 2013.
... planted by the local folks - the Indian privet - Clerodendrum inerme.

Thank you ... for ID... This plant was growing wild, I did not know it was actually planted.
..., this plant grows wild in coastal regions; elsewhere is planted as hedge plant. Perhaps it "escapes" or has tendency to get naturalized.

Goa, May 2015 :: Requesting ID of this bush :: ARKJUN-14/25 : 3 posts by 2 authors. Attachments (8)
This bush (at Varca beach, Goa in May 2015) had two types of flowers, one type looked like Clerodendrum inerme, the second I could not identify.
I think they are of the same bush (I tried to find out if they were 2 separate bushes, but it was too dense and hence I am not sure).
Requesting to please provide ID,
Clerodendrum sps. (C.inerme variety)
Thank you ... is it possible that C. inerme has 2 different type of flowers?
Yes. It could be.

Clerodendrum inerme captured at MNP in April 2014.
This is seen everywhere.
Yes, commonly planted as hedge...
