Yes ... We also found in Morni
After going through these photographs and mine from Chakrata and Kud in Jammu & Kashmir I have a feeling that all these including above and one on Flowers of India may belong to Scutellaria grossa. Unfortunately there are not any photographs or pictures of S. grossa available, but judging from length of corolla tube and bracts below the flowers, I tend to go for Scutellaria grossa. Also the these images of S. discolor lead me to think that perhaps I may be right.
Your opinion on this please.
It is Scutelaria grossa.

Flora of Chakrata: Scutellaria grossa for validation 2011 : This one was shot from near Chakrata...hope this one is Scutellaria grossa....
Yes ... Uploaded last year from Chakrata & J & K by me.

Photographed from Chakrata area in September and Kud in J & K in August
I had my first doubts about this plant being uploaded on Flowers of India as S. discolor and by us from Chakrata, and I gave the detailed links in my following mail:
After further scrutiny and the plant uploaded by ... in the same thread (from Meghalaya, and which I think belongs to S. discolor, also reported from Western Ghats) and study of specimens and description I have come to realise that our plant is clearly S. grossa and improperly represented at Flowers of India. The two species can be clearly distinguished as under:
S. discolor: leaves elliptic-ovate, mildly crenate with almost rounded crenations; flowers purplish; bracts very small shorter than pedicel
S. grossa: leaves triangular-ovate, strongly crenate with somewhat pointed crenations; flowers blue; bracts larger, lower almost leafy, upper gradually smaller but distinctly
longer than pedicel.

Beautiful Sir I also changed label of My plants
That is a wonderful identification! Without the knowledge of Scutellaria grossa, Scutellaria discolor seemed like the best fit for the plant presently at FOI. But the plant is indeed Scutellaria grossa. Infact, ... has first sent his flower picture from Meghalaya as Scutellaria discolor.

Really a nice Lamiaceae member.

Scutellaria discolor or Scutellaria grossa: Some times back ... had posted Scutellaria identified as Scutellaria discolor, largely based on photograph uploaded on Flowers of India and similar image in Flowers of Himalayas:
After going through these photographs and mine from Chakrata and Kud in Jammu & Kashmir I have a feeling that all these including above and one on Flowers of India may belong to Scutellaria grossa. Unfortunately there are not any photographs or pictures of S. grossa available, but judging from length of corolla tube and bracts below the flowers, I tend to go for Scutellaria grossa. Also the these images of S. discolor lead me to think that perhaps I may be right.
Your opinion on this please.
I think you are right Sir. Images from link given are different from ours
I am sharing one photograph which i had taken in Meghalaya. Kindly have a look.
I think you have solved our problem. Your plant seems to be S. discolor, which has distribution in Western Ghats also. S. grossa is restricted to Western Himalayas only. Your plant has flowers purple in colour and bracts very small. Our plant from Chakrata is obviously S. grossa.
