Habit Shrub
Habitat wild

Looks close to Clerodendrum serratum seen in Maharashtra esp. western ghats.
Verbenaceae
I too think the same at first look. But, somehow feel that it might be a different one.  let me analyse it.
Thank you for giving hint of the family...
Could this be Caryopteris odorata..??

I think you got it correct! http://www.efloras.org/florataxon.aspx?flora_id=5&taxon_id=200019308
and here is the key (Flora of Pakisthan) to differentiate this genus from Clerodendron
Inflorescence usually umbellate cymes. Fruiting calyx conspicuously accrescent...........................................Clerodendrum
Inflorescence elongate, racemiform. Fruiting calyx not accrescent......................................................................Caryopteris

Caryopteris wallichiana from Nahan-2011: This one is Caryopteris wallichiana Schauer in DC., Prodr. 11: 625, 1847
Shrub, upto 2 m high with quadrangular branches and papery bark. Leaves long-petiolate, opposite, lanceolate, 7-9 x 2-3 cm, crenate-serrate, pubescent, apex acute, base cuneate.Flowers in thyrses, bluish-purple, sweet-scented. Calyx deeply 5-lobed, lobes lanceolate, erect. Capsule globose, 0.5 cm long, densely pubescent, dark blue when ripe.
This one was photographed from Nahan in April 2011. I am sorry for not having fruit pics as well as habit pictures.

perhaps you meant Caryopteris wallichiana (family: Lamiaceae).
The flower loosely resembles Clerodendron serratum (syn. of Rotheca serrata) of the same family, Lamiaceae ... however upside-down !
Many thanks ... for showing this new plant
Oh Yes! ..., thanks for pointing out, I meant Caryopteria wallichiana only, this one is very common in Haryana Siwaliks, I have never seen Clerodendron serratum..
Now correctly known as Pseudocaryopteris bicolor (Roxb. ex Hardw.) P. D. Cantino
according to both GRIN and The Plant List
The two look pretty close, as my plant from Delhi took a long time to get confirmed. I had to make a few visits to the area to confirm capsule fruit (drupe in Clerodendron serratum).
In Clerodendron serratum Inflo. is terminal. Flowers are not in bunch. Flower size is also smaller one (2 cm.)

Caryopteris odorata from Herbal Garden, Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi
The shrub looks much similar to Clerodendrom serratum, and may be confused with that but is easily differentiated when in fruit in producing dry capsules and not fleshy fruit as in Clerodendrum. In fact when I had uploaded this for ID, it was initially identified as Clerodendrum serratum

Thanks .. for uploading this. It does look similar to Clerodendrum serratum except for the flower colour

This is a fairly common shrub of Morni area as well as other low altitude hills..
Pseudocaryopteris bicolor..
Please correct me, if required

I am trying to identify this flowering shrub seen approaching Pewa in Budhi Gandaki valley at about 1800m (5905ft), Nepal on 21st March 2017.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Could it be Rotheca serrata ?
Thanks, ...  You may be right.
Pseudocaropteris bicolor (=Caryopteris odorata) of Lamiaceae. In flowering in mid hills of the Himalaya nowadays.
Please see page in eFI.
Indeed this is Pseudocaropteris bicolor a very common shrub, in flowering these days..!!
I'm no expert but the leaves look more like Caryopteris bicolor leaves in the examples that I have seen on Google
You are certainly right, ...
