Plectranthus mollis (Lamiaceae).
Thank you for the id. I think you maybe right. It is a Lamiaceae member
Only the garden variety Plectranthus amboinicus is known to me.
Much of the description of Plectranthus matches, although this plant did not have succulent leaves and the inflorescence was sparse and lax.
We can hope for some more confirming responses.

Lamiaceae plant seen in a cultivated garden in Mumbai on 10th April,16.
From the inflorescence it seems to be Coleus sp., presently Plectranthus. I am afraid, species level cannot be identified based on mere photos.
