More pics same area
But ... the Plectranthus barbatus we photographed last time looked much different. Please check your erlier photographs.
Sir these are also from the same plot. Pics of last time are there in starting of this mail. However i also have some doubts in this being C barbatus. matter can be resolved after full flowering in this plant. Present pics show only unopened inflorescence
But those were from Chakrata area and fully flowering
I will upload mine. In the mean time see one from ... http://www.flickr.com/photos/dinesh_valke/4938304974/
I think you are talking about these pics.
From the pics with me 81, 82 and 83 ( attached in last mail), it seems that unopened inflorescence looks like as in TDL Herbal Park pics
Then these could be Plectranthus barbatus in early flowering stage. May be Late growing or trimmed plants.
Yes Sir. In next month also i will try to visit TDL Herbal Park then we may get fully opened inflorescence.

You are correct it is Coleus barbatus and all the species of Coleus are now transferred to Plectrantus.
same question i asked elase where just a little while ago... ...: why?
I would appreciate a simple answer and then a paper or review pdf.

Please find 42 articles (Title and name of journal details only) on Plectranthus barbatus. Attachments (1)
Thank you. its RAR  file. my firewall wont let me download it. any open file?
Simple answer is, it depends on person to  person as perception varies. If I remember correctly, Codd who while working on Coleus and Pleectranthus of Africa felt both the genera cannot be distinguished with particular character as intermediate characters are found. When he merged both the genera, it is accepted by all the researchers.still it continues
Hope Ushadi (ji), it would be helpful in solving your doubt.
Thank you ... ok i understand. Did Codd write a review or a monograph. if yes
could i have a pdf please
I am not abotanist so i dont have access to most of the papers
