I think it should be Clinopodium vulgare L. as per comparative images and keys at Clinopodium Books and links says elevation for C. vulgare is 2700-3400 whereas for C.umbrosum as 300-3400m. and the sp. is from 1695m. . As such the difference is almost 3500ft. Check keys and observations in efi site. References:
