Geranium incanum (Cultivated- USA)

 
Forming ground cover with highly distinctive filiform leaf segments; flowers 22-30 mm across, pink to purple darker veins, on two-flowered elongated peduncles;
 
Differentiated from G. sanguineum by its two-flowered peduncles and deeply divided segments, with linear ultimate segments;  
 

Geranium incanum from California: Geranium incanum, another commonly grown Geranium here in California easily differentiated from G. sanguineum by its two-flowered peduncles and deeply divided segments, with linear ultimate segments. Pl. notice that main segments arise fom a place (palmate) although in turn they are pinnately divided. The flowers may be magenta or purplish-blue same size or slightly smaller. The plant forms a dense carpet like growth and as such known as carpet Geranium.
