Plant for ID from Paddar valley J&K. 221211 SRANA03:

Kindly identify the plant.
Date: 6th August 2011.
Location: Paddar valley district Kishtwar J&K.
Altitude: 4500 meters asl.
Plant height: 10-15 cms
Plant habit/habitat: Wild herb
some gentiana for sure
Possibly Gentiana phyllocalyx
Gentiana phyllocalyx does not have fimbrae in the corolla throat. They are clearly seen here.
Leaves lanceolate, plicae present, shorter than lobes, throat with fimbrae.....It should be Gentiana carinata

Kindly identify this Gentiana species
Location: Paddar valley J&K
Altitude: 3500 meters asl
Date: 6th August 2011
Please give approximate flower size.
The flower was small with not more than half centimeter size. The plant was 7-8 cms in height.
... half a centimeter is too small for this plant. Could it be half inch or even more. Looking at the leaves of Sibbaldia along size, I won't be surprised if flower is more than 1 inch long.
Gentiana species for identification pl. [GHNP; 3000 m asl]
This does seem to have fimbriae and leaves lanceolate with acute tips, unlike my G. hugelii, so this could be G. carinata.
May be you can check your more photographs and literature.
Thanks Sir for the lead.
It also means that the species I had tentatively identified as G. carinata (uploaded under other post) needs rechecking.... I'll do the corrections..
Going by records in the books and net Gentiana carinata seems to be one of the commonest species in Himalayas, abundant on Gulmarg meadow of Kashmir, but going by my upload of G. hugelii (supported by specimens quoted by S. Omer of Pakistan, who seems to have done lot of genus changes. He does not quote single specimen from Gulmarg or Khillenmarg for G. carinata (his Qaisera carinata)), The identity and distribution seems doubtful in my mind. The photograph of G. carinata in Flowers of Himalaya, Flowers of India and two net links I have cited earlier and am repeating here:
In all these photographs I don't detect any trace of fimbriae, a supposedly distinctive character of the species. May be we get more convincing photographs of the species.
If any one has access to the Revision of Indian Gentiana in Flora of India series, please share the list of species and Key if possible.
A few links if they are of any help:
Plants of the Punjab By Charles James Bamber (Description)
Medicinal Plants of Kashmir and Ladakh: Temperate and Cold Arid Himalaya By Maharaj Krishnen Kaul (1997) (one picture etc.)
Some latest treatment should help, especially key to species.

This was just before Ilaqa (3300m) near what is known as Snowline. The ground was dotted with these. Broad basal leaves, dwarf plants with clustered flowers and hair in the flower throat indicate Gentiana carinata.  Please advise if I am making a mistake in identifying this properly.

ID needed for colourful shrub in the middle, near Zaj pass, J&K, ~3,600 mts., 2012

Looks like Gentiana carinata (D.Don ex G.Don) Griseb. !

Gentian, but beyond that would need open flower and at least one side view for the stem and leaf characteristics. sorry,
... may be there were other clumps a little more advanced stage of development?
