Seen this beautiful plant with purple blossoms in one of the castle grounds in Salzburg, AT. They looked so refreshing in the summer.
Is this Wisteria sinensis?

Yes it is Wisteria. Not sure of the species but I think you are right.
Have seen similar blooms in April in California
Wisteria sinensis or floribunda
This is Wisteria... most probably Chinese Wisteria (Wisteria sinensis)

Gliricidia sepium (Jacq.)Walp. (accepted name)  ???
To me, looks different from images at Gliricidia sepium
I think Wisteria sinensis as per images herein.
I agree
The Id by ... seems to be correct as the pictures are comparable with those in the link provided.
In this connection I wish to make a general statement that all those who seek ID should try to provide best pictures, not the cropped / hazy images. In the recent times sending cropped/ unclear pictures has increased for the reasons best known to the senders. Of course any body can guess!
Thank you ... Wisteria sinensis (Sims) Sweet (accepted name)

Gliricidia?  Pl. check the spellings.
Gliricidia sepium (Jacq.) Walp. (accepted name)  ???

I think it is the only species in this genus in efi.
Also check with images at Millettia peguensis.
Can you send the images of the leaves (branch) for checking the proper ID.
It is not Glyricidia. Could be a Milletia species (Millettia brandisiana ? not sure !).
I think Wisteria sinensis as per images herein.
i agree
I am not sure as the pictures are not clear. The 3rd picture showing the tree is confusing me. Is it a independent tree or the combination of hardy shrub climbing over the tree.
Thank you all for the ID !

Some more pics of Wisteria on trellies.. (3 images).
We have so far only have Wisteria sinensis so far in efi site.
Check for the Wisteria frutescens. I remember to have seen this in India Habitat Centre , New Delhi long ago
I also agree with ...
Check to see if the vine twines clockwise or anticlockwise. This character helps to identify the species, otherwise they are quite similar.
