For this key I had taken the help of Flora of China These three are the only species of the genus described in Bailey: Manual of Cultivated Plants, an old (1949) but very reliable book,: V. sesquepedalis: Asparagus bean, yard-long-bean: pod 1-3 ft long, pendent, more or less inflated and flabby when green; seeds 8-12 mm long. V. sinensis: cowpea: pod 8-12 inch long, not inflated or flabby when green, pendent; seed 6-12 mm long. V. cylindrica: Catjang: pod 3-5 inch long, not inflated or flabby when green, erect or ascending; seed less than 6 mm long, about as broad as long. I didn't read the descriptions in FoC, this morning. Instead, i spent more time to find Vigna catjang Endl. in GRIN and The Plant List. But, couldn't find any mention of Endlicher anywhere.
