Herb for ID : Nasik : 211011 : AK-1: Picture taken on the 24th of August,11 at Nasik. A tiny herb growing wild with a single yellow flower less than 1 cm. Plant was very small growing in the grass. yes Stylosanthes hamatus, an small herb, with trifoliate leaf, commonly called as hamata in many places in Maharashtra.. Pl. find the attched file contain photo for id. request. What about Stylosanthes species? Can't see the fringed crest here..... Agree with ... This looks like the Carribean Stylo [Stylosanthes hamatus] to me. A better eye catches the characters easily. I erred again, not only the fringed crest, here the leaves are tri-foliate. Sorry for the mistake.
