Smithia sensitiva 1: Have vast tracks of my property at Shahapur covered with Sensitive Smithia when flowering occurs between the months of August to October. Fruiting generally occurs in October. Sending a few of my photographs. Great display. Thanks for showing the fruits(Pods) too.....described as flattened; 3-6 jointed; orbicular reddish brown. As there are many species in Smithia its difficult to id with some photos, but surely some Smithia sp. (may be S. sensitiva i guess), not Sesbania or Aeschynomene (they are erect herbs or undershrubs) S. sensitiva of Leguminosae would be the most probable choice.
