I think I have observed it near Bhigvan Maharashtra. I can't place it somehow. Stipules are not easily seen here to name it C.auriculata but I think it is. Some how I am not convinced with Senna auriculata 1. stipules are generally so prominent in that it can't be missed 2. The species has 6-13 pairs of leaflets, but here I can't count more than six in any leaf, 4, 5 or 6 pairs are seen in many 3. Glands can be seen even in some upper pairs and they appear sessile 4. fruit has not more than 8 seeds, whereas they should be 20-35 in that species. Agreed ... We have to dig it further..... Satara, MH :: Senna auriculata :: ARK2020-033 : 4 posts by 3 authors. Attachments (5)- around 600 kb each. Saw Senna auriculata at Dahiwadi near Satara. MH in December 2019. It was commonly seen by the roadside. To me also appears close to images at Senna auriculata (L.) Roxb. For me the ID is correct. It is a tanniferous plant found extensively in Southern India.
