Location: Mana Village, Near Badrinath
Date: 13th May 2009
This plant is Piptanthus nepalensis [Fabaceae] . Synonyms: Baptisia nepalensis, Piptanthus bicolor, Thermopsis laburnifolia.

large climbing shrub with bright yellow flowers
seen clearly thru mist
seen growing commonly a few kilometers from garibans
singalila national park
second week of april
I think it could be Piptanthus nepalensis and let me clear it is not a climber. It is hardy perennial semi-evergreen shrub common inside Quercus semecarpifolia and Abies spectabilis forest above 2500-3500m asl in Himalaya.
Many thanks for the id
