its my thesis plant. need its identification plzz... atleast at genus level... from Lahore Pakistan
I think it can be Medicago, but may have other probability which I do not know.
Please check probability of M. polymorpha L.
Can you send the photographs of the fresh plant with close ups of leaves (dorsal and ventral) and other parts depicting the characters including the flowers to help ID the plant by the flora members.
thank u, i will check.. no i have no more photographs of this plant :(
Medicago monantha
Please note petiole length
If you search Medicago truncatula you will find similar long petioled image. But the species have different leaflets and distribution. One point is young plants of any family often have different leaf character than the mature one. It is important to check stipules and number of lateral nerves, if you have the herbarium, to determine species.
