Bakuchi (Bawchi) and Leucoderma: Bawchi i.e. Psoralea corylifoila is well reputed herb for Vitiligo or Leucoderma. leaves like that of strawberry I hope Cullen corylifolium, scurfy pea, bakuchi, an important medicinal plant also think this is Psoralea corylifolia or bakuchi.

Photographed in d wild at Pune, dated- 05 th Oct 11. Yes its Cullen corylifolium (L.) Medik is correct name for the plant and Psoralea corylifolia L. is basionym.. The plant is highly medicinal, can cure white pathches on body.. So Cullen corylifolium 's flowers can b while or lilac ? I was little confused cuz the flowers here r white. Yes it is Cullen corylifolia. I have also noticed many white flowered plants around Pune. The number of plants is increasing year after year around Pune in open places.
