Crotalaria epunctata

Crotalaria epunctata Dalzell (syn: Crotalaria albida var. epunctata (Dalzell) Baker);

India (N): Andhra Pradesh; Karnataka; Maharashtra; Orissa; Tamil Nadu; West Bengal as per ILDIS;

Crotalaria calycina Schrank
at Sajjangad on October 19, 2007
at Amba on December 20, 2010
Images from Amba may be of Crotalaria hirta as per images herein. Pl. validate.
It looks like Crotalaria epunctata Dalz., because stipules  absent, flowers simple or few flowered racemes; corolla slightly longer than calyx; pod glabrous, longer than calyx

Pods are globose in Crotalaria calycina, but in this plant they are elongate

Many many thanks ...
Resurfacing my post Fabaceae (Faboideae) Fortnight :: Crotalaria calycina :: n Western Ghats :: DVOCT31 ... for clarification ... I hope I am correct in understanding that the plant at Amba is Crotalaria epunctata and that of Sajjangad is Crotalaria calycina; please affirm.
Pl. check Sajjangarh plant for Crotalaria hirta also.

Oct 19, 2007 ... Sajjangad, Satara, Maharashtra
commonly known as: hairy crotalaria • Marathi: केसाळ ताग kesal tag • Kannada: bekkina tharudu gida
Native to: tropical Africa, Indian subcontinent, Indo-China, Malesia, Australia
some views: Dec 20, 2010 ... Amba Ghat, Maharashtra
Bright pictures showing the true hairy nature of the plant.
Can't comment anything on the ID though.
Tried to check/ match the characters from books. Didn't succeed much. The Key for Crotalarias only from Maharashtra is 3 and half pages and number of species ...whooping 42 !!!
Requires field study also :(
