Crotalaria calycina ?;
Requesting ID for this Fabaceae herb. Location: Kusur- Lonavala. Seems to be Crotalaria. Will look forward to its ID. I may have posted one similar sighting from Tung. Crotalaria species in eFloraofindia (with details/ keys from published papers/ regional floras/ FRLHT/ FOI/ Biotik/ efloras/ books etc., where ever available on net) Could it be Crotalaria calycina ? It will be helpful if short description is provide about the plant: Viz. habit, height of the plant, presence of stipule or otherwise etc. Images of Crotalaria calycina at efi page Crotalaria ¿ mysorensis ? Could this erect hairy herb, about 2 - 3 ft tall be Crotalaria mysorensis ? at Tung fort on October 13, 2012 efi page on Crotalaria mysorensis Leaves does not seem to match with images at Crotalaria mysorensis I think this must be Crotalaria calycina; dear friends, please validate. I think the original ID is correct. It resembles C. mysorensis, especially the indumentum (hairyness) and calyx characters, rather than C. calycina. Thank you very much ... After reading through description in Flora of China and seeing crisp picture of your plant in flickr, I do not see the conspicuous stipule in my posted plant. Do the stipules have tendency to fall off ?
