25/09/2012 at Pune Kindly help Id a 30-40 feet tall tree on Pune Nagar road, with beautiful orange red inflorescence green towards the tip. No fruits were seen. It was a beautiful sight though I could not capture it well as it was from a distance. Is this Colvillea racemosa? Id help yes this is Colvillea racemosa मणी मोहोर

Location- Silonda, SGNP, Mumbai This looks like Colville's Glory [Colvillea racemosa]. It is an exotic. Colvillea racemosa. A common avenue tree in Mysore. Flowers during September- October. One can see beautiful specimens of this tree in Mysore on the road leading to Hardinge circle from K R Circle ( adjacent to Rajkumar park). Thanx everybody.
