Alysicarpus hamosus
Uran, Maharashtra
third week of September 2018

Alysicarpus poklianus described by A k pandey this species is very close to A hamosus. Typical hamosus has diamorophic leaves, pod hairy, hooked hairs, beads broader than long.

From these pictures it doesn't look at all convincing. Pods of Alysicarpus poklianus have 5-7 constrictions, and those of Alysicarpus hamosus have 3-5 constriction. From the pics of the present resolution, some pods appear to have 4 constrictions. I will wait for better pics, if you can lay your hands on the plant again.

After persuing Alysicarpus poklianus (Fabaceae, Desmodieae), a new species from India - Gholami & Pandey, PhytoKeys 68 (2016), with illustration,
