Leaf rachises 3-7cm, with an elliptic gland near base and a circular one near apex, pinnae 1(-3) pairs, !-5cm, leaflets (1-)2(-7) pairs, ovate-elliptic, 7-15 x 3-7cm, acute or acuminate, base cuneate or rounded, ± glabrous, upper surface ± glossy, reticulate. Panicles terminal, ± corymbose, heads 7-12-flowered. Calyx 2-3mm, whitish puberulous. Corolla 5-6mm, pubescent. Stamens yellow or cream-coloured. filaments 2cm. The characters appear to be within the range of variation of Albizia lucidior having 1-3 pairs of pinnae and (1-) 2-5 (-7) pairs of leaflets, acuminate at apex and the terminal, once or twice branched panicles of heads (2-few-together) and the latter with 10-15 dimorphic flowers (central flower different from the marginal flowers).
